Dutch Auction Rules for Equipment Sales

 

Welcome to our Dutch Auction! Please read the following guidelines carefully before participating. By placing a deposit, you agree to all terms and conditions listed below.

 

• Non-Refundable Deposit:

  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to place a hold on any item.

  • This deposit guarantees that the item is reserved for you, but the item will remain on the website until the full balance is paid.

 

• Backup Hold Option:

  • If an item is already reserved by another buyer, you may place a $10 backup deposit to hold the next spot in line should the original purchaser fail to complete the transaction.

  • If the first buyer finalizes their purchase, your $10 deposit will be non-refundable. If they do not complete the purchase, you will be given the opportunity to buy the item at the current price, with the $10 applied toward the $100 deposit.

 

• As-Is, Final Sale:

  • All items are sold "As Is", with no warranties or guarantees regarding their condition.

  • All sales are final, and no refunds or exchanges will be provided under any circumstances.

 

• Payment Terms:

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full within 48 hours of placing your deposit.

  • If the balance is not paid within this time, the item will be re-listed, and your deposit will be forfeited.

 

• Pickup Deadline & Buyer Responsibility:

  • All items must be picked up by September 20th. If the item is not collected by this date, you will forfeit the item as well as any payments made (including the deposit).

  • No shipping is available. Buyers are responsible for arranging their own transportation for pickup. This includes getting the equipment out of our facility and loading it onto their transport. Ensure you bring the necessary manpower and equipment.

 

• Inspection Before Purchase:

  • Buyers are encouraged to inspect the equipment prior to placing a deposit. Inspections can be arranged by texting 978-635-4968 or emailing Satoshi@NewEnglandNinjaAcademy.com to schedule an appointment.

 

• Dutch Auction Pricing:

  • The price of each item will decrease periodically over time during the auction period. Keep in mind that waiting for the price to drop may increase the risk of another buyer placing a deposit and securing the item.

  • Once you place a deposit, you lock in the current price, and the item is reserved for you.

 

• No Modifications or Holds:

  • No alterations, holds, or requests for modifications to the equipment can be made once a deposit has been placed.

 

• Communication and Responsibility:

  • It is your responsibility to stay informed about the auction and your item. All communication will be sent to the email address provided during the deposit process.

  • Make sure to check your inbox regularly for any updates regarding the status of your item or auction.

 

• Liability Disclaimer:

• Once the equipment is picked up, all liability shifts to the buyer. We are not responsible for accidents, damages, or issues that occur during or after the transport of the item from our facility.

 

• Item Description Accuracy:

• While we strive to provide accurate descriptions and information about each item, it is the buyer’s responsibility to confirm the suitability and condition of the equipment prior to placing a deposit. No claims regarding the equipment’s condition will be entertained after the deposit is placed.

 

• No Disputes Policy:

• By participating in this auction, you acknowledge and agree that all sales are final. There are no disputes, claims, or chargebacks allowed under any circumstances.

• Once a deposit is placed, it is understood that you have inspected the item (or had the opportunity to inspect it) and accept it as is. There are no exceptions to this policy.
